Jeff Dolven teaches Renaissance Literature at Princeton, with a particular focus on poetry and poetics. He is the author of Scenes of Instruction in Renaissance Romance (Chicago, 2007), and is currently working on a book on poetic style in the 1590s and 1950s. He is also a poet himself, and has published in The Paris Review, The Yale Review, The TLS and elsewhere.
